杜金城在个人微博上写道：“在大伙因为杨瀚森中选，这兴奋劲还没过去时候，问点稍显不合时宜话题：被一致称赞格局大的青岛男篮在失去内线顶梁柱之后，未来赛季在政策甚至资金方面会有所补偿么？
“这五年时间，青岛投入人力物力，把小杨培养成才。然后为了球员个人发展也是为中国篮球发展，义无反顾地把小伙子送去了美国。下赛季，球队显然面临内线困局。在如今的CBA联盟，好的大个子本就是稀缺货，想通过交易，部分弥补小杨离开留下的空缺都是奢望。
“青岛将小杨成功推到NBA舞台，算是给整个中国篮球打了个样。未来大伙要不要效仿，也得看这次青岛男篮能否‘别太吃亏’。所以无论政策还是资金，快些出台到位，不能光有贺信啊。”
